I can't even begin to describe the magic of this bubble outside of space and time. I've always dreamed of time surrounded by artists and foreign forests. To see a side of Earth for the first time and share perspectives with other creative, magic embracing, souls. The beauty in every step through this landscape I could never forget. My cameras never left my hands.
This is a total film dump of every single frame, unedited and unfiltered. I know I should be picking out the best to display for the world but I remember the life behind every image and I can't yet bring myself to filter any moment out. I'm sure I'll find my favorites for a curated gallery, but for now I hope you can immerse yourself in this adventure and feel some of the magic and peace that I experienced while in Finland.
I initially arrived with my Nikon Fm10 and z7ii. Within the first week, I discovered a camera store. A true camera store; full of film, darkroom equipment, a repair team, everything an analog loyalist could ever want. In the lobby of the building this store was hidden within I found a vending machine. When I realized this vending machine contained an assortment of 35mm and 120 film, it was a good thing I was alone dancing like a nerd in that lobby. Naturally, I snagged some film. But, I also snagged a little reloadable point and shoot. While my Nikon was aimed at every beautiful detail of nature, that little surprise point and shoot aimed at every beautiful experience.
